Where is the new generation of interested on *anything*?
Most people these days seems to not have any hobbies. Most people I know
have not really any interest that can be called other than
entertainment, like going out to dinner or travel or sports or things
like that.
I know exactly *two* persons, both over their 40's, that have real
interests in something beyond they professional fields, and they're in
the arts, music and painting respectively.
I do find people very dull these days, you barely can get interesting
conversation with them.
Thanks to the Internet gods. You can at least read some people who love
something, that study and learn it, that can say something interesting
about the subject.
This list is one of the best I follow; it's relatively small but
it's members are educated, knowledgeable people with passion about
the topic. I really enjoy it.
BTW, I'm 42.
