My Instruction Book says “Preliminary Copy – To be replaced by Final Copy”
Contract NOs – 73237 20 May 1940.

There is an asterisk next to the 9-18.5 Mc Tuning Unit ( as well as the 200
– 540 Kc Tuning Unit) that reads “Quantity of these units shipped with each
transmitter unit subject to Navy requirements and orders. Information on
these units is included in this instruction book in the event that these
units are made available to the service at some subsequent date”

FYI, my ATD has a 540 to 1500 Kc and 1500 Kc to 3000 Kc Tuning units, and a
pair of 3000 Kc to 9050 Kc tuning units. Were these 4 units standard
delivery?
