[ARC5] Oscillator Stability and Old-Time gear. (Was OT: Hally Instability)

I'm a retired old coot (74 on the 25th) with some time on my hands.  Biggest challenge is making room on a test bench and wiring up a bunch of audio lines to a switch box so I can measure the drift component quickly from a common point.
