Note the receiver control box function handle is offset
from the center and there is no switch in the upper
left corner. This identifies it as an SCR-183 set.
Also, the "coffee grinder" has the 0-100 scale.
This was standard issue in the early 183 sets.
It was optional but not usually used in later versions.
So this is most likely -AD or -AE.
Earliest possible date for this photo would be
about 1934 or 35.
