Another question: What about the Cessna Bamboo Bomber, aka AT-17 and UC-78? twin engine, smaller than a C-45.
Seems like I've seen a photo of a Command Set installed behind the cabin in one of these.

The Airborne Radio Equipment Handbook does not list the C-45. Aside from
the P-38, the smallest twin engine aircraft listed is the Douglas A-20
Boston, which is said to have only carried the SCR-274-N plus RC-51 Interphone and
RC-32 Filter..
