I have a RU style receiver with an AC power supply that was made for some commercial use. It has plug ins for bands from VLF through HF. I'll have to dig it out one of these days. Would be nice to have the matching transmitter, HI. 73 - Mike

I just discovered that A.R.C produced a "broadcast band" 1.2-1.5 MC transmitter coil for SCR-183 on a 1941, "Serial number X" contract similar to the one they used to produce the "ARC-5 cabinet" 2-3 MC ATAs. Of the many mysteries that remain, "why BCB Command transmitters" is my favorite. I have apocryphal stories, even from a vet, and speculation, but not a single page of solid evidence. Maybe if I hit the lottery and can spend a month in the archives, but don't hold your breath. More later if I ever again get home at a decent hour. 73 Dave S.
