[ARC5] BC-453 B dynamotor hum

looks like it was the dyno. I tried cleaning up the brush holders and anything in the area, including some goo that collected between the bearig and the the end of the commutator.Still the same as before. I took  out another 28V dyno that I had purchased a month ago, cleaned and lubed it. popped it on the radio and all was well again.Checked the HV DC on the rear pin and it was pretty clean (after the choke).
This is a case study on how to make a simple problem into a mystery. Im an idiot....
I'll take you up on that armature offer if it still stands!
