[ARC5] nasty hum - more

I tried a clip lead from the dyno to the case and also to my earth ground system, but no change.
I'll pull the dyno apart later and recap that too.
I'.m running this BC453 on my shack 160M dipole, with shield to ground using an open lug to slide behind a conveniently located screw near the antenna terminal and center conductor to the post, of coarse...The antenna adjust appears to find a sweet spot even though the antenna is not to ARC spec.
I'm finding lots of beacons, especially from Canada for some reason. I am curious about 600M propagation. There was only one experimental on last night. I believe it was WD2XSH/30 or 31 as the QSB was pretty bad.The local SW beacon, about 8 miles away, overloads the BC453 easily and I think beacons are only 25 watts!

Also, there are at least three capacitors inside the end-bells of the
dynamotor. As I remember it, there are two on one end connected from each
brush to "ground" and one across the other end.
If any of those are leaky, hum will be stronger.
