Anything not understood by Neighborhood Nazis is perceived as a threat to their Community. Not merely Harmful, but Deviant. Subversive. Destructive of Property Values (that's the main one). They perceive their mission is to Stamp It Out. And their main weapon is The Lawyer.

I think all involved amateur radio operators should start an (dis) information campaign about the harmful effects of the near ground atmospheric electric field gradient and how the harmful field gradient can be substantially mitigated by the suspension of a multitude of wires, tubes and towers, the more and the higher the better with the resulting community based benefits of decreased subliminal electric field stimulation and increased general well fullness and societal well being.
Give me some time and i will figure out a global warming angle
Then erecting a five element beam would be an act of unselfish community support to be encouraged, promoted and maybe even subsidized.
Hey guys something like this has worked very well for the greens, it is our turn now!!!

Wish I could... but the Neighborhood Nazis would spot it in a heartbeat and stamp it out beneath their jackboots. STEALTH... that's the key. Or if you like big words, CLANDESTINE.

Anybody contemplating a retro antenna project? I have 40 ft of the old Amphenol 75 ohm twinlead. Also 31 of the Johnson 4” ceramic feed line spreaders. Also 300 ft. of #14
copper-weld (new & unused). Also period antenna end insulators. All for $30 + shipping or pickup in Glendale, CA.
