The TA-12 transmitter was the liaison transmitter in the Canadian Mosquito
bombers. The receiver was the Bendix RA-10. The transmitter, its
dynamotor/modulator, the receiver, and the radio compass were mounted in the
radio compartment behind the navigator/radio operator who had only the
remote control boxes in front of him for all the radio equipment and the
Morse key, as well as the radio compass remote control and indicator.
Incidentally I have all the pieces of this setup, including the original key
- the famous Bunnell "flameproof" key, with Bendix label and part number.
Just the radio compass, its control box and indicator are still missing, but
that shouldn't affect the radio setup itself. One of my upcoming projects is
to cable up the system (I have all the necessary plugs and connectors) and
put it on the air.

Subject: [ARC5] Bendix Radios
After looking through the 1941 Bendix aircraft radio catalog, I am now
wondering in what aircraft the TA-12 Transmitter was used and with which
receiver was it used?
Anyone have any ideas?
