The high voltage caps are used in the switching power supplies for computers, TV sets, etc. so the supply is still there.

I believe these were designed for this market.

Yep - if they are OK.  Hopefully they are not rejects for some spec
failure....Seemed to be worth the risk.  "High voltage" seems to be
approaching obsolete these days   HiHi.
