Dave: that is beautiful, but that separate MOD ON/OFF switch makes me 
think it is an LM, and not a BC-221.

Of all the models of BC-221, there were only three which have the capability 
of Modulation (and warm up): the BC-221-AK, and a similar model made by 
two other manufacturers, Rauland and Zenith, the -AJ and the -AL.

However, as I understand it ALL models of the LM had modulation capability.
