Ken made the same mistake I once did but he hit send and I noticed before I
did that. On a mail list that covers VLF through 160 meters somebody made
mention of a signal on 17 meters with an18xx frequency quoted, I overlooked
where the decimal happened to be (18.xx) and was going to question but while
I was reviewing just before hitting send I saw my error.

Yes there is a big difference between 500 Hz and 500 kHz. Ken might not have
made that mistake if it was properly posted of 500 cps instead. No mistaking
500 cps for 500 kc <grin>
