Hi Andrew,

You already have some excellent advice. "Corners" on the radios are are 
not sharp but radiused. If you look at lumber you will see radiuses 
(radii to Romans) on the edges. Cut your bits and pieces to take 
advantage of those or sand the edges to the required radius. For a 
hammer I use a small, lightweight, soft-faced mallet so as not to add 
more damage and for the soft aluminium light taps. A lifetime around all 
manner of machinery has given me experience picking the "hammer" and 
choosing the strength of the blows. Tread lightly with these radios.

It's bent inward so much that the edge of the dial chaff's on the plastic indicator . I was thinking of some wood blocks in-between a vise. I also have a slight dent in the rear corner back by the connector ,but I don't think there's much I can do about it.
