Apparently these PDAs still work. So a 'collector' might use them daily,
or occasionally, just like we do with our old radios. I had some ancient
"XT" laptop computers. They had 640k of ram and dual (woo hoo) 620k
floppy disc drives (no hard drives). I recently sent the last one to the
bone yard when the unobtanium parts finally bit the dust. Up until the
point of failure they still did what they always did.
There are people who keep the old gadgets just for display. If they
still work then so much the better. They do show 'n' tell just like we
do with our radios. I was on the verge of junking my Apple IIc just
because it was so very far behind the curve (and taking up space). I
finally found a guy who wanted it for his collection/museum. It lives
on. Those PDAs fall into that same category. One man's junk is another's
treasure.
