I think stamp and coin collecting are similar to treasure hunting. You keep looking till you find the "mother lode", so to speak. Radios are still useful and also interesting historical displays. I have fun with demos when the newbies see the ARc's and ask "what are they?"
I'm wondering what one does with a PDA collection,.though ? Does he use them daily for their intended purpose? I knew a  model A Ford enthusiast who drove them to his work a few miles down the road every day! Anything is possible...
