Frankly, in the long run, just replacing older electrolytics and paper capacitors automatically, generally saves a lot of money in potential damage to other components as well as time spent in trouble-shooting when that component completely goes bad.
It is usually a case of pay a little bit now or pay a LOT a little bit later! Glen, K9STH
