Cat6, as well as cat5 or 5e, does not have shielding. Cat6 has more stringent twist specs to reduce crosstalk at higher frequencies.
You can order Cat 5 or 6 cable with shielding in order to help shield from external RF interference but you have to be concerned about grounding. You need a good RF ground point and should only ground at one end.
The shielding is thin aluminum foil,. I don't think it would be eddctive at 50/60 hz.

Forgive me if I "dis-remember" (running out the door for
work) but isn't "Cat-6," now readily-available, a "Cat-5"
with more uniform twisting and a real cable shield?
