[ARC5] Fwd: Switch ring tool

FWIW, I have one of those tools but hardly ever use it. The problem is
scraping the finish on your equipment panel. One solution is to make a
template with a hole in it, out of Teflon sheet or even paper or cardboard,
that fits over the knurled nut to prevent the wrench jaws from touching the
panel. However, what I usually do is tighten the hex nut behind the panel
with a thin, cheapo (stamped out of sheet metal) open end wrench. Of
course, this hex nut can be difficult to reach in some cases, so you will
have to resort to the special tool. As far as I am concerned, the knurled
nut is strictly for appearance and not a fastening device. My guess is that
factory installation of these switches was always done by tightening the hex
nut inside and not the knurled nut outside.
