I've received several replies and everyone says they've never seen anything like these bases before. The consensus seems to be that the tubes probably have nothing in common with the US manufactured VT-25s. I think they're even less likely to be similar to genuine Western Electric VT-25s, so I've decided to not bid on them. 73 de Neil ZL1ANM
