The February 1980 issue of Ham Radio magazine has an article on these 
series of filters. Mostly it
is the modification of the lower frequency units to cover 2 meters.

While it may not cover your usage, it should give you a place to start.

I know that I converted some 300 MHz units to cover the 420 ham band, 
and I think it came out
of an article in a later issue of Ham Radio, but I will have to paw 
through the magazine pile to
find it.
