[ARC5] 8643 Tubes

They are the next step up from the 5894 which is a step up from the 829B which is a step up from the 6907 which is a step up from the 832A.  Excellent VHF and UHF amplifier tube and work very for HF.
Motorola used them in the MHT Motrac VHF and UHF mobile and base stations as the final amplifier. Glen, K9STH

I picked up a couple of what appear to be NOS condition 8643 tubes.

Anyone know what they are good for?
