Speaking of which, that scope photo you have on your site looked absolutely
excellent to me.
I assume that is a photo of your plate modulated output with a sine-wave
driving the modulator? If so, I detect a very, very minor amount of
distortion.
If that is what you're getting, I wouldn't touch a thing.

Yes, that is the *screen-modulated* output of the ARC-5, with a very clean
General Radio oscillator driving the mic input.
The pic was actually taken before I redesigned the modulator output stage,
so it now looks even better and at any audio frequency,.
Not sure of the % distortion but (other than some trace hum from the power
supply) it gets very good audio reports on the air.
