[ARC5] WX Report - back to ARC-5

Hi Mac,

How much we use some of our gear depends partly on how much space is
available. Often a step back in time is also a step down from other gear
we have. I have a place in the garage workshop/radio shack for my older
toys like the ARC-5 command receivers, etc. Sure enough, the old radios
in the "civilized" radio room are just 'nicer' to use. But the old
radios still do yeoman service on the bands. I keep the ARC-5s near line
when they aren't on line (not related to computers or internet). I like
to have forty meters playing in the work shop so the BC-455 stays close
to the antenna.

73,

Bill KU8H
