Greeleee punches were always expensive. I wanted to buy some when I started out in the hobby as a teenager. They were out of my budget.
Lafayette Radio sold a cheaper Japanese made set but quality was poor, even for my frugal budget. I decided to built solid start equipment; you had to be a metalworker to build vacuum tube equipment.
I've picked up a couple of Greenlee punches over the years for 7 and 9 pin miniature and 8 pin octal sockets.

That is true. You can go to a ham fest and buy a nice used transmitter or receiver for the same price as two of those Greenlee punches!
