One further comment on the isolated capacitor in the front of the R-23.  
This was present only in the R-23, R-23A, R-24 and R-148.  Which were also 
referred to as the Navigation receivers.  The three Communication receivers 
(R-25, R-26 & R-27) don't have any connection between the audio circuit and the 
front connector box.
