Not claiming the "smart title" , but as a person who works with websites and selling on-line I have a tip for sending pictures. Most, or more likely all digital cameras have the ability to limit it's resolution well below it's capabilities. This saves camera memory and creates a jpg that will easily be accepted by any email system usually in the 100KB range. My camera is set to produce 640X480 images. The pictures have more than sufficient resolution for anything that I've needed to date. For best results, use a camera tripod. It makes a big difference on the clarity of close up shots.

I think it would be an excellent move.
One of our "smart people" should write a simple guide
to making photos that are less than the limit.
Something like:
Use .jpg format, never .bmp or .tif files.
Check the file properties for size before posting.
Display size for a .jpg under 256 kB can be quite
large- 1600x1200 pixels. Black-and-White files
are much smaller size-for-size.
