Being or having been responsible for the care and feeding of four Yahoo 
Groups Files systems, I can attest that it is possible to bring order out of 
chaos there.  Keeping order is a little ongoing work, though.  I can also 
attest that the same is not true of their Photos system.  However, it is 
possible to upload JPG's to Files.  But there is no way to preview them (no 
thumbnails).  You have to open the actual JPG (just as you do the PDF's, TIF's and 
DOC's ot TXT's).
