  Hello Ken,
  Like you, I'm a fan.
One interesting thing is that many files in Windows format can be
  opened/used under "Puppy".
(I think this is true for almost all variants of Linux).

But (in contrast to the boot-able flash drive) only read-only devices
  - like the CD - give complete confidence in the absence of viruses.

As for LOVING Unix/Linux - I won't go that far. I'll say I like the
symmetry of Linux. (Yes! good code has symmetry.)
I like the elegance and functionality of Linux. I like the
sparseness of Linux. I like the fact that Linux isn't Windows, and
  crashes less.

On the other hand I love Ira, my wife. She's incomparably nicer than
  Linux.
She's loveable; Linux is simply like-able.
HA! Take that, you Yankee bounder! (Gosh, I hope you're not one of
  them rebels from the south!)

PS. For the small sum of $5.oo you can buy silence.
I will promise to never breathe a word to your wife about you and
  Linux. Deal?

PPS. If you think this is blackmail, I never wrote it, and I don't
know what you're talking about. HA!
  This e-mail will self-destruct in 60 seconds ....
