The 7193 is a VHF triode. One use I've seen made of it is as a surplus
cheap rectifier in the Superior Instruments TV 50 signal generator by Moss
Distributing. Moss was known for using tubes such as the 6B1000 surplus IBM
computer tube and other surplus stuff in making their test equipment.
