Get Go Jo, *NON* abrasive.  Scrub surface with a tooth brush or better yet a “hospital  brush” - the small kind used to clean hands and fingernails for sterile procedures.

Remove dirty stuff with paper or cloth towel.  Repeat till no more grime comes out.

Clean with Windex and allow to dry well.  Then apply car wax with a similar brush. Use WD-40 or Armor All if you must, but both of these things have bad ingredients.
