I had a problem a while back where I clicked on some link that led me to some place I did not want to be, followed by that fake FBI warning that I had to pay a fine to get my computer unlocked.

It was not the computer but just the Firefox browser.  At a time like that you are glad that you still have an old copy of Internet Explorer on the machine.  I deleted Firefox, ran virus checks and a program called the Junk Removal Tool, and then reloaded Firefox from scratch.

I recommend the same approach to anyone who even thinks he has a problem.

And as far as I am concerned, if that crap is coming from someone in this country, that's why we have a 2nd Amendment.  And if it is coming from someone in a foreign country, that is why we have nuclear-armed ICBMs.
