[ARC5] Possible attack via FireFox & Yahoo Groups

  G'day list-subscribers,
 
  The following observation is based on my suspicion only.

  (1) I use Firefox running on Windows XP.  I subscribe to Yahoo groups.
  (2) Recently was advised to update my version of Firefox - I did that.
  (3) This AM I used Yahoo, and found frequent messages saying "this (or
  that) is out of date.
  (4) I noticed that the "close" function (box marked "X" at the top
  right) in these messages did NOT change the direction address for the
  out-of-date 'pop-up'.
  (5) I suspect "Yahoo" has been hacked and is attracting false "out of
  date messages".

  All this is suspicion, but if I'm correct it may save others a lot of
  trouble.
  If I'm wrong, then I'm just a goose, posting a message with incorrect
  info.
