I just finished reading "The History of US Electronic Warfare. Volume 1-
"The Years of Innovation-Beginnings to 1946" by Alfred Price."". It
never ceases to amaze me what the "Greatest Generation" did with what they
had to work with. I read a lot of WW II history, but I never realized
how much radar related ELINT equipment the Allies used. The author
claims the use of such equipment saved 600 B-17 aircraft in Europe and 200
B-29 aircraft in the Pacific. At about 10 men per crew, that's 8000
lives!

On a scale of 1 to 10, I give this book an easy 15!!
