[ARC5] ARR-1

The amusing thing about the ARR-1, is that it received the very first receiver designation, R-1, as well  as the first ARR designation.

And it's not even really a receiver.

I've always wondered if that designation was part of the subterfuge or reflected that the CV designation had not come into use yet.

Also, does anyone know if the 520-1.5 set used with the ARR-1 was ever used for anything but the IF of the ZB system?
