P.S. from my antique cell phone:  as a quick fix you can stuff a little braid into the female pin to make the  contact until ready to repair.

I have successfully done the "banana transplant" several times.
In fact, I have several of the "banana peel" contacts that go over the pins
in my spares.  I will send you some some male connectors and show you how
to remove the "peels" from the donors.  
It is a delicate operation but can be done.  Do it once or twice and
you'll have it down.

I am at work right now.  When I get home tonight, assuming they don't
grab me by the hair as they have the past two weeks, I will detail
how to replace them.  You need a very fine file, a small, hot soldering tip,
some cotton gause, good eyes, a steady hand and a light touch ;-).
