Same seller, different listing. Those are exactly the same questions I asked Me, Myself and I. My ‘junker’ collection includes one with no top cover or condenser ‘doghouse’. If you look in just the right place, crank your head to portside, hold your tongue counterclockwise, there is a space where you can see the spline with the condenser bolted in place. It is very, very, very awkward and I doubt you would be able to use the Allen wrench, probably need to hack up a tool. That or remove the condenser, put the adapter on and replace the condenser. Since Phil says they work great, maybe he will share how he did it

Is it this one: 251696117639
I can't picture how the set screws are to be tightened onto the spline shaft as he described since (on all my sets) the spline shaft is recessed down inside the threaded cable collar. Or do you crank the set screws down & then jam the thing onto the shaft?

There are some ARC-5 adapters on eBay from a guy who has made these to fit the
spline shaft on the tuning capacitor.
They work great!
