[ARC5] When without a BC456, what do you use as a keying relay?

It's always more fun to your very own, original mistakes!
More seriously, I pay attention to threads like this one for my own use.
I don't have any of the transmitters and no plans to acquire any. But we
just never know what might follow us home from hamfests! I have the
radios and the plans to setup on four bands with the MF and HF command
receivers to cover 600 meters through 40 meters. I'll be using a home
brew transmitter or transmitters to go with. Some of that is in layout
on one of my benches - but right now I'm busy buttoning up for the cold
northern winter. Found some weather seals to replace, etc.
