[ARC5] BC456 vs MD7 modulation

I do this with my ARC-5 transmitters and BC-456 screen modulator. Comparing the two ARC-5 and 274N system schematics shows that the only relevant difference is the value of the 1625 RF final screen dropping resistor. Changed the resistor in the ARC-5s to the 274s value. Of course the rear connector pin outs have to be resolved between the two systems. One type of transmitter uses series b plus feed through the final output tank and the other uses shunt feed but that's not an issue WRT modulation. Feed in high quality audio to the 456 you will be amazed how good it will sound! You can get about 20 watts carrier out in voice mode vs 50 in CW.
