[ARC5] BC-229 / BC-429 receivers

Hi Neil and all,

 The following 2011 post in it’s opening paragraph best summarizes the
state of affairs with this series. Mikes listing on the BC-AL-229, at the
bottom, reveals that this version does have a loop antenna as stated in the
previous post.

The RKK website shows a picture of the BC-AR-229:

This is the fun and challenge of getting these pre-ARC-5 sets back in
