[ARC5] BC-230 Bringing back an old thead.

Hard to believe that this thread started was back in '11! Was looking over the archived bits of the old post which causes me to ask a few question. I have recently acquired a BC-230 and would like get it on the air. This is what I have to work with: 1-BC-230,2-VT25 (801's), 2-6A3's, and 1- T/U C-383 4.0 to 4.495MC.
Can the C-383 be adjusted or modified the cover the 80/75mtr band? Or will I have find the appropriate coil set for the band? Do the 6A3's seem like good replacements for VT-52's?
 I know that AB5S was working on some other replacement tubes to use and can up with the 6AQ5 as one that workouted fine were there others?? 5763 and 12BY7's I think where mentioned. Is there a source for the power plug?? I could probably make one up but if I can buy one that would be better. Where can I find a good copy of the schematic??
