For those who wish to follow along with David Stinson at home, I found a
source for the BC-230, BC-430 and the GF-11.   http://www.bwgsurplus.com  Look
under “Military”, “Radios and related”. BWGS seems to have multiple units
of each one for $45 each plus shipping. As mentioned before by others,
“these are often found without tubes or coil sets.” That is true here.
But, these pre-ARC-5 rigs are incredible. I marvel at the men whose
shoulders we stand upon.
