After spending quite a bit of time trying to determine which IFTs go with
what receiver, and ending up with a list which at this time I can assure
you all is not complete, I find the following concerning the subject
IFTs:

Those IFT's labled with the numbers 7277, 7278, and 7279, for the 1st,
2nd, and 3rd IF respectively, are generally for the BC-455, and are the
"single coil" types. I.e., one coil, the top one, is a pie-wound type
while the "other" coil is simply a single-layer solenoid type.

Those IFTs labled with the numbers 9693, 9697, and 9699, for the 1st, 2nd
and 3rd IF transformers respectively, are the "standards". I.e.the two-
pie-wound coil type, and appear to be used in the R-27/ARC-5 receivers.

The coils can be moved like the 3-4 MHz IFT coils can be for greater
selectivity.
