Years ago I bought a Triumph 650 with the typical oil leaks. I drilled
out -every- threaded hole and re-tapped to the next largest size with
American threads. I put it back together with RTV sealer and Allen head
cap bolts and I had the -ONLY- Triumph in the USA that did not leak a
single drop of oil. It can be done.
