[ARC5] AM on 40m?

Hi John,
I'm not a fan of AM. I can't say never and I sometimes do listen to AM.
I hear it various times of day on various bands including 160, 80, and
40 meters. Depending on your antennas (NVIS, Yagi, etc) time of day, etc
you can expect the 'coverage' area to be in different places (or nowhere).
Cruise the bands with your BFO on. SSB doesn't make carriers. When you
find carriers in the phone part of the band it's a good bet those are
AM. See if that helps you find some AM activity.
