[ARC5] RU-16, -17, and BC-229 from the e-Place

Good afternoon all,

Some may recall the e-Place auction containing an RU-16, an RU-17, and a 
BC-229.  I ended up winning this auction and the receivers finally 
arrived yesterday.  (long story)

First...the bad news.

- One of the dual-coil sets has been badly modified and is probably a 
source of parts only.

- All three receivers have some modifications made to them.

- The BC-229 is not only modified, but is missing the multipurpose 
connector, the ground terminal, the A/L switch internals, and the phone 
jack.  The BC-229 case has been hacked up to allow some internal wiring 
to pass from the inside of the case to the outside of the case.

Now for the good news.

- The two RU receivers are complete and will not take much to reverse 
the modifications and re-connect the front panel multipurpose connector.

- As shown in the photos, two of the units came with spine to crank knob 
adapters.  These are in good shape.

- The rest of the coil sets appear unmodified.

All in all, I'm pretty happy.  These sets will never be pristine, but 
should be good working sets when I'm finished with them.
