Hi Richard.
I haven't tested it yet. While I can test its value, I don't have any
equipment to do a leakage test that will do above 600 VDC.
I also don't know if the capacitor is mica or waxed paper (and the photo on
my phone doesn't show any markings - they're probably on the other side).
I could jin up a test circuit with a 2 KV transformer, millimeter etc, but
all things considered, I was just planning on replace the cap.
Fear not, the original cap will be saved with the other original caps I
yanked out of the 456. I don't throw original pieces away, they go into a
baggie for storage and perhaps eventually re-stuffing (although I did
re-stuff the 2 big square caps in the 456).
