[ARC5] ARC-2 Defines "Broad as a Barn"

So now to see what can be done (non-destructively)
to "tighten-up" the selectivity of the ARC-2.
First thing to do is see just how "wide" it really is.

My test equipment and budget are quite limited, so
here's what I did. If you can think of a better way
that doesn't include me buying $400 logic analyzers,
I'm "all ears."
I put a scope on the speaker connection
and used my restored LM freq meter to inject a
modulated signal at 3890KC at a level that would not
engage AVC action. Adjusted the signal and scope
to show 4V PTP. Using my TR-7 as an external
frequency standard, I varied the the LM in 1KC steps
around the center freq.
I have not done any alignment on the IF,
so the results shown in this chart are "as found:"

I think "W-I-D-E" is putting it mildly ;-).
So this is my starting-point for my fiddling-to-come.

Impressions, suggestions?
