For a penny there really isn't much to lose. So I have asked a couple of 
questions and will probably bid (but not very much).

That is one rough radio but there might be enough bits left there to 
make it play again AND make it a *little* prettier (less ugly?). We 
don't maintain or improve our skills by only working on the *easy* ones. 
I have the remains of a command receiver that somebody took a sledge 
hammer to or ran over with a truck (both?). There is crush, fold, and 
tear damage. Even that one is beginning to 'yield'. It's an exercise in 
collision repair.
