Can you give us some figures? 6-60 db figures, etc? Before and after? It is 
most likely that the 60 db figure will not change much since in LC circuits that 
is determined by the IF frequency, but the 6 db point should be very 
noticably improved.

According to info I have here which originally came directly from ARC, they 
were even able to obtain 6 db selectivity in the 6 - 9.1 MHz receivers at that 
2830 KHz IF of 3 KHz. I was amazed. 

But, I am not sure that they didn't do something else too, but the info I have 
was that they only adjusted the IF coil spacing.

As the saying goes, "Ab-so-freakin'-lootely!" In fact, I had proposed just such 
an article to Ray at ER some time ago, but have so far not been able to do 
anything about it.

You are far more along in that project than I am.

I have already sent him at least 3 other articles, one quite long with lots of 
photos, on our favorite receivers and he will publish those in due course. 

Your article would be a very welcome addition to the others.

Please do that.
